Nexus. What does it mean? A quick check at Dictionary.com reveals that it means
1. A means of connection; a link or tie: "this nexus between New York's . . . real-estate investors and its . . . politicians" (Wall Street Journal).
2. A connected series or group.
3. The core or center: "The real nexus of the money culture [was] Wall Street" (Bill Barol).
And that is precisely what NEXUS 2007 is about! An event by The Digital Movement , it promises to bring a whole range of speakers from a broad spectrum of technology and innovation driven companies to enrich, entertain and inspire.

Amongst the topics that will be discussed are:-
• APAC 2.0: Regional Technology Leaders Discuss Emerging Opportunities
• Crowdsourcing The Media
• The Mobile Web Explosion
• Future of the Web: How Long will the Tail Stretch?
• Open Source Communities- Innovation Unlimited
• Riding On Disruptions: Global Startup Panel

Ok…So you want to know who the speakers are too right? Well a peek reveals names like:-
Reza Behnam – MD of Yahoo! South East Asia
David Miller – President Asia Pacific/Japan, Lenovo
Andreas Weigend – Former Chief Scientist, Amazon.com
Cory Ondrejka - CTO Linden Labs ( Second Life )
Derek Callow - Regional Marketing Manager, Google Inc

There’s a whole lot more so you should check out their site for more cool stuff that’s happening!

They’ve even got pre-conference events for you to participate in like Geekout! And of course, a wiki for you to make this event truly a Nexus of technology and innovation.

See you there~!

Hi Ridzuan, thanks for the nice comments! One more thing, Nexus is as much about the community as it is about the speakers. Help shape the agenda at wiki, collaborate live to create a web document together, and hold your community meetups during the chill out session as well!
